Ensaladilla Rusa

After nothing at all for Breakfast, lunch was a Tapas dish of Ensaladilla Rusa, tea was 3 biscuits and supper was a Cheshire Cheese and Potato Salad sandwich on brown buttered bread. I've felt hungry all day and it's been a huge struggle not to gorge myself stupid, sure hope it's going to pay off when it comes to the Sunday weigh-in.

I'm on a six-week pre-holiday bikini diet, and I've found it helps having loads of fruit around for guilt-free snacking. Also you can now get these bags of mini Ryvitas which are almost as good as a bag of crisps!

Well, the fruit part sounds good, though I've always had difficulties eating a lot of fruit, it just gets kind of, well, boring after a while!

Mini Ryvitas sound great, I reckon Ursula will want to try them, but "as good as a packet of crisps"? And you're dieting?? Hmmmmm...

So where are you off to on your holiday?

Not dieting as in counting calories, but just avoiding chocolate, chips, curry, excessive booze etc (except on Saturday nights when anything goes!), and eating loads of fruit and veg.

We're going to Florida for two weeks in Sept/Oct so I don't want to feel like the only pale pasty Brit on the beach. I'm only 55 kilos so it's more a case of shaping up than losing weight - I've even been going to the gym!

Don't worry Nats, I'm sure you won't be the only pasty Brit on the Beach! And at 55 kilos you're a git for dieting at all, lol.

Where in Bush Jnr.'s manor are you off to, Atlantic Coast or Gulf of Mexico?

We're doing a week in Orlando for all the fun of the theme parks, then off to St Pete Beach on the Gulf Coast for a week of chilling on the beach. And we're kind of hoping there might be a shuttle launch while we're over there, as apparently their next launch window is late September - in which case we'd zip over to Cape Canaveral too! I'm so excited - I can't wait!!

I've not been to either of those places but I bet you'll have a great time in both. Before deciding Spain was a better idea, we looked at Florida quite extensively and had major fantasies of living on the Gulf.

Wouldn't it be cool to see a launch! I'd love to do see one before I die, but with the way things are going, that's looking pretty unlikely. I mean with the Space programme, not me of course.

Have a great time.
